Philippine PRC Licensure
Agriculturist refers to a person who is a holder of a valid certificate of registration and professional identification card in agriculture.
Board refers to Professional Regulatory Board of Agriculture which is under the administrative control and supervision of the PRC.
The board was created in accordance with Section 75 of Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization Act of 1997. This is to upgrade the Agriculture profession in the Philippines.
Scope of Agriculturist Board Examination
The subjects and methods of board exam shall be prescribed by the Board of Agriculture.
Oath of Profession
All successful examinees and those qualified under Section 75 of R.A. 8435 shall be required to take a professional oath before the board or any government official authorized by PRC to administer oaths, before entering their practice as agriculturist.
