Philippine PRC Licensure
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 1,228 out of 3,317 passed the Civil Engineer Board Examination. It was held in May 2003. The licensure exam was given by the Board of Civil Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of her liability under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The composition of the Philippine Board of Civil Engineering are chairman: Dr. Angel L. Lazaro III; members: Engr. Pedro Adonis A. Compendio and Engr. Apollo S. Enriquez.
The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:
a. latest Community Tax Certificate
b. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and nametag)
c. 1 piece 1 ½” x 1 ½” picture
d. metered documentary stamps
e. 1 short brown envelope
f. Initial Registration Fee of P400 and Annual Registration Fee of P300 for 2003-2006
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oathtaking ceremony will be held before the Board in MANILA on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Fiesta Pavilion Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila, Philippines.
Registration for membership for the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) will start on Thursday, June 19, 2003.
