Philippine PRC Licensure
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 1,071 out of 3,197 passed the Civil Engineer Board Examination. It was held in May 2004. The licensure exam was given by the Board of Civil Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi. The results of examination with respect to six (6) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The composition of the Philippine Board of Civil Engineering are chairman: Dr. Angel L. Lazaro III; member: Engr. Apollo S. Enriquez.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, May 24, 2004 but not later than June 11, 2004. Those who will register are required to bring the following:
a. duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
b. current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
c. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
d. 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
e. 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
f. 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
g. Initial Registration Fee of P400 and Annual Registration Fee of P300 for 2004-2007
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oathtaking ceremony will be held before the Board on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila, Philippines.
Registration for membership with the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. will start on Monday, May 24, 2004.
Successful Examinees in the May 2004 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination, with their surnames arranged in alphabetical order
