Civil Engineer November 2002

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 1,961 out of 5,583 passed the Civil Engineer Board Examination. It was held in November 2002. The licensure exam was given by the Board of Civil Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Lucena, Legazpi and Tacloban. The results of examination with respect to four (4) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The composition of the Philippine Board of Civil Engineering are chairman: Dr. Angel L. Lazaro III; members: Engr. Rizal Alberto C. Nolido and Engr. Leovigildo S. Veroy.

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of
Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); one (1) piece passport size picture, one (1) piece 2 x 2 picture with nametag; metered documentary stamps for the Oath Form and Certificate of Registration, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the following fees: P400 for Initial Registration Fee and P300 for Professional Identification Card.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Professional oath will be held before the Board on Friday, December 20, 2002 at 1:30 in the afternoon at the Manila Midtown
Hotel, Pedro Gil Street, Ermita, Manila, Philippines.

Registration for membership with the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) will start on December 4, 2002.
