The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 13 out of 29 passed the Environmental Planner Board Examination. It was held in June 2004. The licensure exam was given by the Board of Environmental Planning in Manila.

The composition of the Philippine Board of Environmental Planning are chairman: Josefina M. Ramos; members: Lirio T. Abuyuan and Carmencita L. Rosales.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, July 5, 2004 but not later than July 23, 2004. Those who will register are required to bring the following:
a. duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
b. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
c. 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
d. 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
e. 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
f. Initial Registration Fee of P400 and Annual Registration Fee of P300 for 2004-2007.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 1:30 o’clock in the afternoon at the Roma Salon,
Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.

Registration for membership with the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) will also start on Monday, July 5, 2004.
