Philippine PRC Licensure
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 51 out of 139 passed the Fisheries Technologist Board Examination. The exam was given by the Board of Fisheries in Manila, Davao and Iloilo. It was held in October 2006.
The composition of the Philippine Board of Fisheries are chairman: Rogelio O. Juliano; members: Cesario R. Pagdilao and Catalino R. Dela Cruz.
Seventy eight (78) applicants were approved for registration without examination as Fisheries Technologists.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of
Registration will start on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 but not later than October 21, 2006. Those who will register are required to bring the following:
a. duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
b. current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
c. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
d. 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
e. 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
f. 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
g. Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2006-2009
h. Examination Fee of P900 for applicants for registration without examination.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
