The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 26 out of 33 passed the Geologist Board Examination. It was held in August 2002. The licensure exam was given by the Board of Geology in Manila.

The composition of the Philippine Board of Geology are chairman: Redempta P. Baluda; members: Emmanuel G. Ramos and Rudy C. Obial.

The registration requirements are the following:
a. latest Community Tax Certificate
b. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and nametag)
c. 1 piece 1 ½” x 1½” picture
d. 6 pieces documentary stamp
e. 1 small brown envelope
f. Initial Registration Fee of P400 and Annual Registration fee of P300 for 2002 – 2005.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking will be announced later.
