The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 59 out of 171 passed the Master Plumber Board Examination. It was held in March 2005. The licensure exam was given by the Board for Master Plumbers in Manila. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his liability under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

The composition of the Philippine Board for Master Plumbers are chairman: Fortunato H. Amosco; member: Imelda J. Perez.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, March 28, 2005 but not later than April 15, 2005. Those who will register are required to bring the following:
a. duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
b. current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
c. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
d. 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
e. 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
f. 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
g. Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2005-2008.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 6:00 o’clock in the evening at CSB International Conference Center, Malate, Manila.

Registration for membership with National Master Plumbers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (NAMPAP) will also start on Monday, March 28, 2005.
