The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 16 out of 40 passed the Naval Architect and Marine Engineer Board Examination. The exam was given by the Board of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in Manila. It was held in September 2003.

The composition of the Philippine Board of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering are chairman: Engr. Jusnedeo Jose E. Pascual; members: Engr. Iluminado A. Abdon and Engr. Gregorio L. Pinili.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Wednesday, September 24, 2003 but not later than October 8, 2003 at the PRC Regional Offices and on October 10, 2003 at PRC Manila. Those who will register are required to bring the following:
a. latest Community Tax Certificate
b. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and nametag)
c. 1 piece 1 ½” x 1 ½” picture, metered documentary stamps
d. 1 short brown envelope
e. Initial Registration Fee of P400 and Annual Registration Fee of P300 for 2003-2006.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
